Go to the Header the Class

Image

I like to think that I'm a creative person. But the truth is, I do much better with modifying an existing item than creating something from scratch. So today at lunch, I asked Mrs. Oliveri if she could help me create a nice header for this blog. She suggested a photo-based header image. Then we started talking about taking a picture of the servers, the iPads, etc. Exciting perhaps to a geek like me, but how to appeal to the larger crowd?

Then she mentioned that the Kindergartnerswere working on their letters, and it all fell into place. I met Mr. Tepedino as he was handing out iPads to the Kindergartners. The room was filled with the Vegas casino-like sounds of Word Bingo and Bookworm. Mrs. Eder helped me organize the children, and we assigned each a letter. They opened Chalkboard, Doodle Buddy and Alphabet Fun and drew their letters, then lined up shoulder to shoulder outside Mr. Sullivan's office. The result is displayed at the top of this page.
